Bought these primarily because Infinity had a deal I couldn't say no to. My old summer gloves (Hein Gericke) had lasted for years, but were starting to show the worst for wear so time to try something new.
My usual size is somewhere between M and L; so its a bit of a lottery when buying online. I bet on M and lost; but a replacement L pair were sent out by Infinity with minimal fuss (I had to cover the cost of the return).
Initial impressions were that they are a lot thinner than my old summer gloves, but this is one of the benefits of using Kangaroo leather. The gauntlet cuffs are quite long, so if you're the "jacket over the gloves" type its a bit of a fiddle. They bedded in quite quickly, however the bits of the palm with extra thickness (although still very thin compared to old) takes a bit of getting used to as you can feel the transition from double layer to single layer against the grips. The gloves feel well made and have plenty of knuckle armour. It is tempting to mutter "I'm Batman" in a husky voice when you put them on.... |
