What is MotorcycleGold?

MotorcycleGold is designed to help you find the right kit at the right price from the vast number of motorcycle dealers and accessory retailers on the Internet.

How it started

During 2007, we were trying to buy a new pair of boots to replace a worn out pair of SiDI Vertebra 2's. However, we found that existing price comparison sites did not cater for riders and adverts on the mainstream bike sites were based upon revenue generation rather than the best prices currently available on the market.

Being long term riders, we thought we would try to provide a service that allows bikers, riders or motorcyclists to find the gear or services they are looking for in an easy to read format. The main emphasis being on finding the right kit at the right price rather than the revenue generated from advertising the deals.

After developing a catalogue where we are able to match deals on 3rd party sites with products listed in our catalogue, we launched in 2008 initially concentrating on riding gear.

MotorcycleGold does not favour one retailer over another; it uses pricing and member review information to order the retailers we find selling each product. Some retailers reward us for referring customers to them who then go on to purchase from them; however this does not affect the way we order and display the pricing information.
